Welcome to the fund raising section of the website.
Fund raising at the OG's youth football club has historically consisted of our annual football tournament and the subs we collect from the players and this has proved to be sufficient to keep the club afloat however it does not provide enough income to fulfil the ambitions of the managers who would like to take their teams on football tours, day trips out to theme parks and other team bonding activities. We have also suffered the effects of the Covid pandemic resulting in the cancellation of our summer tournament for the past two years as well as no income to the club due to no subs being collected during the same period.
All of this could, in theory, be achieved through fund raising, whilst the bigger projects could be achieved through match funding with organisations like the Football Foundation, local business sponsorship and land fill sponsorship. In order to achieve our goals we are, as a club, in the process of trying to set up a fund raising committee but require representation from each team to help steer forward fund raising ideas for the club. As a club we raised £25000 towards the final costs of £100000 to enable the development of our 9v9 pitches a number of years ago so anything is possible achive.
